In my action file:

$f->setvalue('request_date'=date->format('%Q %T'));
$f->process;
$trace -> insert($d -> action_statement);

and the action statement shows the corresponding value of
request_date to be '' (empty string).

But this:

$f->setvalue('request_date'=date->format('%Q %T'));
if($f->getbutton == 'add');
$d->addrecord(-fields=($f->updatefields),
-keyvalue=($f->keyvalue));
/if;
$trace -> insert($d -> action_statement);

the action statement shows the corresponding value of
request_date to be '2010-07-23 03:26:47'.

I expected ->process to have the same value for request_date as
->addrecord, but the former is an empty string. Is this a bug?
