Not sure what would be concatenated, but I think you mean the
following. You can define 3 fields--month, day, year--then
concatenate the submitted values to comprise an actual date in
the action file. Basically like so:

var('date') = $f->getvalue(-name='year') + '-' +
$f->getvalue(-name='month') + '-' + $f->getvalue(-name='day');

Then write an -sql inline instead of using the built-in Knop methods.

Or do you want to do something else?
