I suggest that the form type -> addfield supports another -type:

'display'

If set like this:

$fDoc -> (addfield:
-type='display',
-name='imgsize',
-dbfield='WEBDOC_params',
-label='Bildstorlek i px (b/h)');

it would only show the content of the field but not in a way that
makes it editable.

The workaround right now is to use -disabled.

$fDoc -> (addfield:
-type='text',
-name='imgsize',
-dbfield='WEBDOC_params',
-disabled,
-label='Bildstorlek i px (b/h)',
-size);
