Is it possible to have a default value in a radio form field?

I've tried -default and -value but didn't get i working.

$fRgtmpl -> (addfield:
-type='radio',
-name='firstname_show',
-dbfield='BOKG_RGTMPL_firstname_show',
-label='Visa',
-options=(array: '1'='Ja', '0'='Nej'),
-required,
-default = '1', // not working
-value = '1' // not working
);
